The Amoskeag Millyard is a mile of red brick along the Merrimack, built to run on the river's fall and at its peak among the largest cotton manufacturing operations in the world. 3. Lake Massabesic (14-22 miles)
East of Manchester, Lake Massabesic is a large lake with a popular road loop around it and the Massabesic Audubon Center on the eastern shore.
