Nye County is one of the largest counties in the Lower 48 and one of the smallest eBike directories in Nevada. Two Pahrump cards. No River Mountains Loop. No Truckee path. The honest page names that gap instead of filling it with invented Discovery Park mileage or a fake Amargosa rail-trail.
Pahrump town pavement is the ride. NV-160 toward the Spring Mountains is a highway. If you came to Nevada for a sourced 35-mile paved desert loop, that loop is in Clark County: the River Mountains Trail out of Henderson and Boulder City. Drive there. Using Nye as a substitute because it is "also desert" is how people underestimate water. Summer in Pahrump is a dawn sport or a shop day. Winter and shoulder seasons are when town miles feel human.

Where to ride in Nye County
Plan around Pahrump. The rest of Nye is basin-and-range distance with little water and little shoulder. If a facility is not posted for bicycles, it is not an eBike destination on this guide.

Pahrump is the only town on this county's shop list. Riding that works is public streets, park loops you can see with your own eyes, and out-and-backs you can reverse when the wind or heat turns. 2. NV-160 toward Mountain Springs -- road, not a path
NV-160 is the paved connection toward the Spring Mountains and Clark County. It is a highway. Do not use it as a training climb unless you already ride rural highways and accept the traffic. The Clark County line is not a trailhead marker.
3. Basin roads at dawn (expert, out-and-back only)
Empty creosote flats look inviting. They are also where people underestimate water, distance, and headwind. If you leave town, set a hard turnaround time, carry more water than the out-leg suggests, and tell someone. This is not a named greenway. It is a caution with a sunrise.
4. Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge -- mostly a walk
Ash Meadows is a real place in Nye County, managed for water and endangered species. Boardwalks and refuge paths are generally for feet. Do not assume an eBike is welcome. Check the current refuge page before you trailer a bike there, and be ready to leave it in the rack.
5. Death Valley approach -- do not make it the ride
Western Nye points at Death Valley National Park. Park roads are long, hot, and regulated by NPS. A Pahrump shop day plus a car tour is the honest visitor plan. An eBike "to the dunes" is how heat illness starts.
Half-day and full-day eBike plans
Half day, Pahrump town (1-2 hours): Ride streets and any posted park loop near your shop. Turn around when the pavement heat climbs. That is the conservative Nye day.
Half day, shop-supported: Battery check, short out-and-back, extra water. Useful in summer when a "real trail" would be a mistake.
Full day, do not cross the basin: Two short town sessions with a long indoor break beats one heroic NV-160 attempt. A portable power station belongs at the car in this climate.
Full day, drive to Clark for the loop: If you want a sourced 35-mile paved loop, that is Clark County's River Mountains Trail, not Nye. Drive to Henderson.
What not to ride
Death Valley interior as a casual eBike: heat, distance, NPS rules.
Ash Meadows boardwalks: refuge, species, usually pedestrians.
Long empty highway shoulders at midday: NV-160 and US 95 are not paths.
Any two-track toward the Nevada Test and Training Range or posted federal land: closed means closed.
When to ride Nye County
