Useful access points include Payne Park and Pompano Trailhead in Sarasota, Culverhouse Nature Park and McIntosh Road in the middle, Osprey Junction at 939 E. Bay Street, and the Historic Venice Train Depot to the south. The official trail brochure lists a 15 mph speed limit, requires riders to warn before passing, and allows eBikes while prohibiting other motorized vehicles.
For a first ride, choose a 10 to 18 mile out-and-back from Culverhouse or Osprey Junction.
